Instant Queue Manager V4 provides enterprise level click to chat functionality for Lotus Sametime and Microsoft OCS. Unlike hosted solutions, Queue Manager V4 is installed securely within an enterprise and uses the corporate IM platform (Lotus Sametime or Microsoft OCS) as the presence engine and IM transport layer.
Integration with existing CRM systems, database systems, and internal custom applications is also supported using a Groovy based development environment.
The installation process involves the following high level steps (see steps below) - a typical installation takes approximately 2 hours:
Step 1 - Review the system requirements, installation checklist, and verify access rights to the necessary enterprise resources and accounts
Step 2 - Install, secure, and configure the databases responsible for the queue management, reporting, and logging
Step 3 - Install and configure the Queue Manager 4 server
Step 4 - Load the QM4 directory with information on the experts, IM entry points, and managers
Step 5 - Create queues, interviews, and custom conversational scripts and database lookups
Step 6 - Deploy the click to chat functionality on intranet, external portals, external web sites, or directly within the corporate buddy list |
