time when he was the launch manager for Lotus Notes R5.

FAA took the time this month to tell us a bit about how he uses Instant
TeamMessenger to manage operations along the Aleutian Islands of
Alaska.
For IMtegrity Customers we have released an update for Lotus Sametime version 7.
The British Army's 4 Way Skydiving Team
Instant Technologies proudly sponsors the British Army's 4 Way Skydiving Team for this year's Skydiving World Cup
The
British 4 Way Army Skydiving Team, relies heavily on collaborative
efforts and communication; their lives depend on it. Instant
Technologies, which supplies solutions to some of the world's most
powerful armed forces also believes the same focus on collaboration and
communication is required in business.
Instant Technologies wishes the British 4 Way team luck in their quest to win the Skydiving World Cup.
"When you only
have 35 seconds to be judged instant decisions and communication are
essential. When we are moving if we don't work together we can never
achieve our goal. Skydiving is a sport where synergy is extremely
important. Through efficient preparation and visual communication you
can rely on your teammates not to make mistakes." -Team Captain David
Tyler, British Army 4 Way Skydiving Team

Carl Tyler asks "What's your favorite R5 memory?"
With the recent release of Lotus Notes 7 Carl Tyler reminisces about when he was the launch manager of R5...
Straying away from Carl's
normal tip or trick of the month he decided he'd wanted to reminisce
about his time white with Lotus. As some of you already know he was the
Launch Manager and part of the "I AM Superman" campaign for R5. He
wants to know what your favorite memories of R5 were.

Glenn Avery's Success with Instant TeamMessenger
Glenn Avery tells us a bit about how he uses Instant TeamMessenger to manage operations across the Aleutian Islands.
I
recently had the opportunity to speak with Glenn Avery about his
success using Instant TeamMessenger. He is a very busy person and he's
responsible for the operations of his organization throughout the
remote Aleutian Islands. Communication is critical in his line of work
and this is just a bit about what he had to say about our Instant
TeamMessenger:
"I can now talk
on the phone, ITM with a fellow employee(s), and have another ITM
session waiting, asking for me to get off the phone (waiting their
turn). It is my job to help coordinate the activities of about 18 other
employees. Coordination can include travel arrangements for multiple
persons to remote sites in the Bering Sea and the Alaskan Aleutian
Island's. Overseeing maintenance of hundreds of different pieces of
equipment and construction activities for about ten different islands
in Alaska can be quite hectic but also very rewarding - ITM helps me
stay on top of my game. Thanks."
For those of you
new to Instant TeamMessenger - it is a tool that combines Lotus
Sametime into Microsoft Outlook interface allow for the creation of
dynamic buddy lists specific to e-mails and address books, Instant
TeamMessenger also logs conversations into Outlook's Journal.
