Instant Technologies Newsletter
Can
you believe it's only been a month since the Instant Technologies team
was enjoying Lotusphere and the Florida weather, and now here we are in
New England with temperatures not far above zero degrees Fahrenheit. I
think I can speak for the entire Instant team when I say we had a great
time down in Orlando, and it was a pleasure to meet many of you.
In this newsletter I
am excited to announce the release of our second product for the
Microsoft Live Communications Server, Instant Agent Framework for ADO.
For those of you
who missed Carl Tyler's presentations at Lotusphere I have supplied a
link to view all of his presentation slides.
Do you have a Sametime SIP server configured an no one to chat with? TrustedSIP.com is aiming to help you out!
And finally, do you want to use single sign on (SSO) to log your users into STLinks on your intranet? Carl Tyler explains how.
Instant Agent Framework ADO
Instant Technologies releases its second product for Microsoft LCS.
The
very popular and award winning IBM Lotus Sametime bot development tool
Instant Agent Framework(IAF ADO) is now available for Microsoft Live
Communications Server. IAF allows for the rapid creation of Microsoft
LCS bots that query ADO data sources.
Features and Benefits:
- Wizard based configuration requires no programming.
- Built in Logging allows administrators to track bot usage.
- No per bot fee so you can develop and deploy as many as you require.
Build bots in as little
as 20 minutes, add immediate value to your existing Microsoft LCS
platform, and help increase end user adoption.

TrustedSIP.com
User pre-registration now open.
Many
Sametime customers have been busy setting up Sametime SIP connectors,
and once they've done that they realize they don't know who they can
connect to? Unlike an SMTP server where you can build it and the emails
will start to come, SIP servers are a little different, and both
parties need to know about each other. TrustedSIP.com is close to going
live and will allow users to identify other trusted companies they can
connect to. Get a head start and pre-register so you'll know as soon as
the site goes live.

Single Sign On for STLinks
Carl Tyler has yet another trick for us using STLinks.
Do your users have to enter their password every time they access a site with STLinks?
This month Carl
Tyler has given us a tip on how to use SSO to log users into STLinks.
It is a question he often is confronted with so in his blog he walks us
through the process of retrieving the LtpaToken.
