at Instant we are all packed up and ready to head south for our fourth
consecutive trip to Lotusphere. We are looking forward to meeting many
of you for the first time, seeing some old friends again, and maybe
even taking a chance to enjoy the Florida weather.
In this newsletter I'm
going to tell you a bit about the products we will be demonstrating as
well as other things you can expect to see at our booth. We have booth
number 531 this year, do not hesitate to swing by and say "Hello".
Nissan's Greece
national sales company recently implemented a number of our bots
created using Instant Agent Framework and I've included a bit of their
success story.

Lotusphere 2006

This
year marks our fourth consecutive trip to Orlando for Lotusphere and
promises to be one of the most exciting yet. We have been assigned
booth 531 and we are looking forward to seeing some old faces as well
as meeting many of you for the first time.
At our booth you can
expect to find demonstrations of all our products for both IBM Lotus
Sametime and Microsoft Live Communications Server. Including the newly
released TeamSessions V2 for IBM's Lotus Sametime, and Instant Archive
Viewer for Microsoft Live Communications Server.

Nissan Greece Finds Success using IAF Bots
Bots vastly reduce human interaction involved in locating relevant order information.
As
one of the top 10 car manufacturers in the world Nissan is part of a
highly competitive industry. Margins are constantly declining as
companies find new ways to gain competitive advantages and reduce their
overhead costs. Nissan's National Sales Company in Greece,
Nic.J.Theocarakis S.A., with 100+ dealerships is no exception, and the
employees of Nissan Greece are always looking for ways to reduce costs.
One such
opportunity was identified in dealers and employee support. Warehouse
personnel are currently required to provide support to dealers - who
are calling in asking questions regarding their orders and about
information about spare parts availability, and operators are required
to provide support to employees looking to locate information they need
regarding dealers telephone numbers, contact persons, zip codes, etc.
Providing this kind of support is a very costly endeavor.
