Instant Technologies has
teamed up with ReSoft International LLC of New Canaan CT, helping
ReSoft strengthen its Sametime solutions offerings. ReSoft
International now offers Instant's suite of instant messaging
management tools as part of the ReSoft solutions portfolio. This
partnership empowers customers implementing applications within Lotus
Sametime by providing communications and security tools.
Industry Analysts say Instant Messaging usage is growing
at astounding rates. A recent IDC study reported that in 2005 nearly 1
billion messages will be through business IM. Customers driving this
growth are demanding better collaboration, compliance and usability
tools for interaction between employees as well as communication with
Customers and Suppliers.
Users of the Lotus Sametime enterprise instant messaging
system can expand its use by deploying the Instant Technologies product
set including:
- Instant TeamSessions enables Persistent Group Chat
Sessions in Lotus Sametime, allowing teams to instantly share ideas and
content in a centrally managed, secure, and persistent real-time
environment
- Instant Queue Manager creates virtual queues in
Lotus Sametime that sort chat requests and direct them to the next
available queue agent, allowing employees & customers to contact a
skills-group through a group Sametime id.
- Instant IMtegrity allows secure logging and archiving of IBM Lotus Sametime chats to meet compliance requirements.
